Water Plant Operator (Class I, II or III)


Summary

The Carroll County Water Authority (CCWA) is seeking a certified Water Treatment Plant Operator (Class I, II or III) for the recently expanded and upgraded Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant.

The Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant utilizes conventional treatment processes to treat consistently low turbidity raw water from the Snake Creek Reservoir.  This modern 12-MGD facility is newly updated, well maintained and operated to produce high-quality water.  The Georgia Association of Water Professionals has awarded the Platinum Award to Snake Creek Water Treatment Plant for the past 10 years for adherence to regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will be at a minimum a licensed Class III water plant operator in the State of Georgia, but candidates with higher license classifications and/or candidates that are dual licensed in both water and wastewater treatment are desired.

Pay Range:  $21.00 - $34.00 per hour; Commensurate with skills, experience and license level.
