Requires High School Diploma or GED; with one (1) year of experience in enforcement of Codes (Preferred: Fire Prevention Codes Certification); or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Successfully obtain a Georgia State Inspector Certification within twelve (12) months of employment (Preferred: Certified as Georgia State Inspector).
Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Vision must be correctable to 20/20 in each eye with normal color vision; hearing ability normal or correctible for understanding normal conversational tones at all times; and ability to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.
