Project: RFB2027-05 State Route 53 Turn Lane Improvements Between State Route 316 and Jackson Trail Road

Owner:            Barrow County Board of Commissioners

Sealed bids will be received by the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Winder, Georgia, for roadway improvements for State Route 53 between State Route 316 and Jackson Trail Road in Barrow County. 

Bids will be received in the office of the Barrow County Board of Commissioners, Abril Olivas, County Clerk’s Office, at 30 North Broad Street, Winder, Georgia 30680, until 2:00 P.M., Thursday, October 1, 2026.  Any bid received after said time and date, will not be considered by Owner.  Bids will be opened and read aloud in the Commission Meeting Room on the Second Floor of the Historic Courthouse at the above address at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026. All bids will be evaluated and the project will be awarded, if it is awarded, within 60 days of the bid opening.

Each bid must be in accordance with specifications and must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Owner.  Each sealed envelope containing a bid must be plainly marked on the outside as “RFB2027-05 – State Route 53 Turn Lane Improvements Between State Route 316 and Jackson Trail Road”. If a bid is forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid must be enclosed in another envelope to the attention of the Owner at the address previously given and also plainly marked with “RFB2027-05 – State Route 53 Turn Lane Improvements Between State Route 316 and Jackson Trail Road”.

Owner reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids, and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be in the best interest of the Owner.  No bid will be rejected without just cause.
